The United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay is a Covenant Church with Bread for the World. Covenant Churches have a history of being special partners with Bread for the World in ending hunger.

They understand ending hunger to be central to Christian mission and make specific commitments:

  • to pray and learn about hunger.
  • To give of their time to end hunger in their community, the nation and the world.
  • And to give of their resources to end hunger.

The Bread for the World Organization is a collective Christian voice urging our nation’s decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad by changing policies, programs and conditions that allow hunger and poverty to persist, they provide help and opportunity far beyond the communities in which we live.
