Mission Statement
The purpose of Women’s Ministries is to give women a chance to live
a transformed life through a relationship with Jesus Christ and
other Christian women.
We demonstrate our commitment to Christ and our desire to follow in
His steps with heads that think, hearts that love, and hands that
serve.

In the gospel of Matthew we read of the Lord’s calling to us:
“Come to Me.”
He doesn’t ask us to get cleaned up, dressed up, get our lives
together and then He’ll let us into His presence. Christ says to us:
“Come, just as you are! Come, those who are tired and burdened with
the cares of this world. I want to know you. I have prepared a place
for you.”
Jesus’ amazing openness to everyone shapes our approach to Women’s
Ministry. We welcome women at every place imaginable in life-
healthy or sick, young or old, doubting or growing, churched or
unchurched. Wherever you are in life, we invite you to experience
the love of Christ through fellowship with other women.
Whether you are seeking encouragement from other moms with young
children through Mommy & Me, spiritual growth through WOW worship
and classes or fun service and meaningful friendships through UMW
circles, we know that you’ll find a safe place to grow, belong and
serve with other women at the United Methodist Church of Whitefish
Bay.
We invite you to explore the many opportunities at our church.
Women’s Ministries is constantly changing to meet the demands of
women in our community. Be sure to check our women’s bulletin board
