Open Door Gallery

"Behold, I have set before you an open door." Rev. 3:8

"If I were called to define briefly the word 'art,' I should call it reproduction of what the senses perceive as nature, seen through the veil of the soul."

-Paul Cezanne

Located in the Walnut Room, the Open Door Gallery was established in 2005 and takes its name from the welcoming tradition of the United Methodist Church - Open hearts, Open minds, Open doors.  The purpose of the gallery is two-fold, both to enrich the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay and the general community with changing exhibits that give glory to God, and to encourage artists by providing a space to display their work.
