24 HOURS
THAT CHANGED THE WORLD
The Gospel
of Mark is believed to be the earliest written Gospel. During the season of
Lent we will take a look at a small portion of Mark’s Gospel, the last hours
of Jesus’ life. Many say it is these 24 hours of Jesus’ life that changed
the world. We will journey with Jesus through the words of Mark’s gospel
through the last hours of his life to his death and then, the resurrection.
Pictures from the 2011 Holy Land trip will enhance our living these hours.
An invitation will also be made to all members of our congregation and
community to come and study Adam Hamilton’s book, 24 Hours that Changed
the World during this season.
