Scrip is year-round fundraising program which benefits our many missions. We sell gift cards for a huge number of local and national retailers and restaurants. With each card purchased, the company donates a % of the purchase to our church. You can give the cards as gifts or to make your own purchases. You purchase the cards at face value – it doesn't cost you anything extra. These aren't buy-one-get-one-free deals or anything like that. They're just like the gift cards you would buy if you bought them from the merchant yourself.

We like this program because we raise funds by simply making purchases from merchants we already know for items we need to purchase anyway.

Here are some reasons to give Scrip a try...

• Are you going grocery shopping this week? Need to put gas in your car? Buy Sendik's scrip for grocery shopping, or a Mobil card for gas. Sendik's gives a generous 5% discount if you purchase the card from the church office. If you buy $100 in Scrip, we'll earn $5. Do that everyweek and we'll earn $250 for the year – just on your groceries alone! Imagine if 10 families did that for the whole year! If you're going to go shopping for food anyway, why not raise funds for our missions at the same time?

• Do you need a gift for a teenager and you haven't go a clue what to get? How about a gift card to Best Buy, iTunes, Old Navy, Panera Bread, Qdoba or Pizza Hut or a gas card?

• Need to buy tools or paint for a project at home? Or are you going on our ASP trip or a Faithworks project or know someone who is? Get a card to Menards, Home Depot or Lowes before you head to the store. And Walmart cards always come in handy on ASP.

• Need a Teacher's gift? Or do you have to go pay your Kohl's bill? Kohl's Gift cards are great teacher's gift. And if you purchase a Kohl's Gift Card through Scrip you can use it to pay your Kohl’s charge!

• Need fabric for a costume? Or craft supplies for a kid's project or your favorite craft hobby? Michaels or Joanne Fabrics cards are available. These can make nice gift cards for teacher's at school or day care!

• What about sport stuff or camping gear? Cabela's, REI, Target, Walmart and Sears participate in the Scrip program, too!

Purchasing Scrip gift cards is easy. Sendik's and Kohl's cards are stocked in the office and can be purchased at the counter. Others cards like Best Buy, Sears, Starbuck's, iTunes, Target, Walmart, Panera Bread, Cheescake Factory, Menards, Home Depot, Lowe's, Michaels, Joanne Fabrics, Mobil, BP, Boston Store, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Crate & Barrel, Cabelas, REI, CVS, Walgreen's, Toys R Us, Build a Bear Workshop can be ordered online (or by mail) and sent directly to your home.
