This is our church's
largest food drive of the year. The 2011 drive was our best
ever. We delivered over 200 bags of food to the food
pantry at Northcott Neighborhood House. Volunteers hand out
grocery bags with a recommended list of needed food at all church
services three weekends before Thanksgiving. Church members
are asked to bring filled bags to church anytime between the second
Sunday and the first Sunday before Thanksgiving. On the Sunday
or Monday before Thanksgiving, volunteers deliver the food to Northcott.
