Meal Programs |
|
|
|
Our church helps serve and in some programs also cooks and prepares
meals for the needy in the Milwaukee area at four different meal
sites. There are nine different programs on Monday, Wednesday,
Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are needed to help cook and
serve the meals. |

A group of volunteers cook and serve a meal at
Agape. The food is
provided by our church.
The cooks pick up the food from church around 3 p.m. and prepare it
in the Agape kitchen. The servers arrive
around 5:15 p.m. Dinner is served family-style for 80-100
people. Cooks leave around 5:30 p.m. Servers leave at
6:30 p.m. Agape is at 6100 n. 42nd Street.

A group of volunteers serve a meal at St. Ben’s
on 9th and State Street.
Some members of the group
bring cakes for dessert, while others make a financial contribution
toward the rest of the meal, which is prepared for 300-400 people by St. Ben's.
They arrive by 5:15pm and leave shortly after 6:30pm.

St. Vincent at 10th and Greenfield Avenue. A meal
for 300-400 people is provided by our church. It is prepared that afternoon in our church
kitchen. Servers are expected to arrive at 5:15 p.m. and stay until
6:15 p.m.

Rescue Mission. A meal is provided and prepared for 300 men,
women, and children by the Rescue Mission. Volunteers arrive
around 3:45 p.m. and leave around 6:00 p.m. The Rescue Mission
is located at 17th and Kilbourn Avenue
