United Methodist Children’s Service and
Transitional Living Center (UMCS)
This agency serves teen parents in Milwaukee.
It is the most successful local program working to refocus the lives
of young parents, their families and community. Through various
programs, the agency serves over 10,000 people a year. The agency
provides day care, a food pantry, parent education and training,
counseling, health care, transitional living, and referrals to other
appropriate agencies. Our Hunger Committee collects food each month
for the UMCS food pantry. Presently Eileen Dean and Rev. Gerry
Harrison hold Board membership. |

Northcott Neighborhood House is a multi-purpose
community center located at 2460 North 6th Street serving
Milwaukee’s Inner City North community. The United Methodist Church
of Whitefish Bay has provided food to the food pantry and an annual
winter coat collection and is looking to further our involvement
with Northcott’s youth and community programs.
