The scholarship committee raises money to provide scholarships for needy local Afro-American students.  The students are chosen from Whitefish Bay and Nicolet High Schools. The scholarships are usually $1000 for the first year and $500 for each subsequent year, dependent upon the student’s satisfactory progress.
