This is an annual all church May through mid
August collection of new school backpacks and designated school
supply items for approximately 200 children in the Milwaukee area
and is sponsored by the Children’s Education Team. Five different
agencies or neighboring churches and several needy families receive
these backpacks for those persons whom they serve.
Thursday, Aug 14 is for
daytime sorting and preparing assembly lines.
Friday, August 15 is for evening assembling and boxing the 200+
backpacks.
Approximately 50 volunteers
are needed these two days. |
