Talent Show was AWESOME!!
|

A big thank you goes
out to everyone who performed and helped at this year's youth talent
show! What a great blessing to have so many gifts and talents
that we can share with one another!
Thanks to everyone who
came to watch the show. It was a huge success! We raised a
total of $680.50 for the Appalachia Service
Project!

Hey there
everyone!
It's finally
starting to feel like spring, the school year is beginning to
wind down, graduations are just around the corner, and there's
a TON going on!
Take a couple
minutes to look at everything that's going on in and around
church. It's going to be a great
spring!

Youth Events
Sunday, May
11th
We will not have normal youth grou this
night. Instead, take your mother out to dinner! Spend
the time you would normally spend at youth group with your
mothers. They do SO MUCH for you, do something nice for
them! Check out this youtube
video about mothers! Share it with your mom, and have a
little laugh together!
Sunday, May
18th...the LAST YOUTH GROUP
We're going to end the year by going
over to the Peery's for a fun night of food and fellowship.
We'll have a bonfire, hang out on the beach, and just have a great
time together. Meet at church at 5:30pm, and we'll walk to the
Peery's together. Oh yeah, and bring a friend
too!

The first ASP Car Wash!!
Come help from 9:00am-1:00pm to raise money for ASP!!

Sunday Mornings
This weekend, May
11th
Don't miss Sunday school this
week! Jamie Schmid, who has helped to create and work on our
new church website, is going to be coming to
talk about creating a new youth
website! Come and share your ideas so that we can have
a website that you
like!

Confirmation Sunday, May 18th
The 8th graders become official church members on this
Sunday! Come to the 10:30 worship service to sit together as a
class in support of this special time for our 8th grade brothers and
sisters!
May 25th
Now that the 8th
graders will be confirmed, they won't have any more Confirmation
class! They will be invited to Sr. High Sunday school to hang
out, get a feel for what Sr. High is all about, and maybe look ahead
to next year.

...because God doesn't take

- June 1st, ASP
Meeting in Room 224 at 11:30
- June 8th is
Graduate's Sunday where we recognize our graduating
seniors! There will be a brunch at 10:00 for the Class
of 2008!
- June 15th-18th
is church camp at Lake Lucerne
- On June 22nd, we
will be having a bike ride! Meet at church at
12:00pm
- Don't forget
that every Saturday in June we will be having a car wash
from 9:00am-1:00pm out on
Danbury
