    Music Scholarship Program

What is the Music Scholarship Program?
Thanks to the generous support of private donors and the UMCWFB Foundation, the Chancel Choir and Praise Team awarded five music scholarships to deserving students this year.  The scholarship music program provides an opportunity for our church  to teach the next generation of musicians about traditional and contemporary sacred music by exposing them to a wide array of literature and giving them opportunities to lead musical worship.  .

Other churches in Milwaukee and beyond (including the churches Pastor Susan served in Denver and Kansas City) have recognized the value of scholarship musician programs for many years.  In fact, Mel Wade, Mary Peterson, and Ann Jones all served as scholarship singers when they were in college!  I'm tremendously grateful to the donors whose passion for music and worship made the UMCWFB Music Scholarship Program possible.
