Meal Programs |
|
|
|
Our church helps serve and in some programs also cooks and prepares
meals for the needy in the Milwaukee area at four different meal
sites. There are nine different programs on Monday, Wednesday,
Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are needed to help cook and
serve the meals. |

A group of volunteers cook and serve a meal at
Agape. The food is
provided by our church. The cooks pick up the
food from church and arrive about 3:15 p.m. The servers arrive
around 5:15 p.m. Cooks leave around 5:30 p.m. Servers leave at
6:30 p.m. Agape is at 6100 n. 42nd Street.

St. Ben's Community Meal

A group of volunteers serve a meal at St. Ben’s
on 9th and State Street.
Some members of the group
bring cakes for dessert, while others make a financial contribution
toward the rest of the meal, which is prepared by St. Ben's.
They arrive by 5:15pm and leave shortly after 6:30pm.

St. Vincent at 10th and Greenfield Avenue. The meal is
provided by our church. It is prepared that afternoon in our church
kitchen. Servers are expected to arrive at 5:15 p.m. and stay until
6:15 p.m.

A group of volunteers serve a lunch at
the Rescue Mission. They bring a soda, salty snack and dessert.
They arrive around 11:30 a.m. and leave by 12:45 p.m. The lunch is
provided and prepared by the Rescue Mission at 17th and
Kilbourn Avenue.
