Children & Youth
Children
Every child, student
and adult in our congregation is encouraged to participate in
stewardship. Children are being encouraged to participate in
this special campaign with their families. Special “Child
Commitment Cards” will be provided to children to be able to make
their own commitment to the church. Each member of the family will
be receiving special “leaves” to sign and place on the Giving Tree
as a sign of commitment to 29 Days of Giving.
During Sunday school
children will be learning the story of Jesus washing the feet of his
disciples and his commandment to “Love on another, just as I have
loved you”. April 3 has been designated as a special “Service” or
Day of Giving lesson in Sunday school and the children will practice
the gift of giving in many ways that day. On "Commitment Sunday"
April 10, children will attend worship with their families to enjoy
the Children's Musical AND to participate in the commitment
dedication.
