In a Pit with a
Lion on a Snowy Day: How to Survive and Thrive When Opportunity
Roars,
by Mark Batterson
Are you a man looking for
fellowship and Christian study with other men? Are you someone
who travels? Are you someone who wants to be able to spend time
with your children and put them to bed? Are you one who works
late in the evening? If you answer yes to any of these
questions, come and join us on Monday evenings. We will be
discussing a great book, In
a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day – How to Survive and Thrive
When Opportunity Roars.
What if the
life you really want, and the future God wants for you, is hiding
right now in your biggest problem, your worst failure, your greatest
fear? Based on the scripture 2 Samuel 23:20-21.
Mark
Batterson is one of the most outstanding young Christian leaders
in our country today.
Books may be purchased
in the church office for $15

Wednesday Early Bible Study (WEBS)
Rotational Leadership
Ongoing Walnut Room 6:30 to 7:40 am
|
The study employs short readings
and little advance preparation is required. Currently we base
discussion on the day's reading in "My Utmost for His Highest" by
Oswald Chambers.
Good coffee opens each gathering
with mutual support through prayer concerns, followed by discussion.
Members attend as work and family schedules permit. All are
welcome for any time they are able. |
