Join us for lively
discussion and open dialogue as we seek to deepen the understanding
of faith and religion through books and multimedia exploration of a
wide range of topics.
All adults desiring a place where there is open and respectful
discussion of often controversial topics are welcome. The current
study focuses on Thank God for Evolution, by Michael Dowd, a
UCC Pastor exploring the total compatibility of Christian Faith and
the fact of Evolution. |

Join this opportunity for exploring serious questions of thoughtful
Christians. LtQ2 is an open-minded alternative to studies that
attempt to give participants the answers, and strives to create an
environment of interaction in exploring the future of Christianity.
Topics include: Stories of Creation, Taking the Bible Seriously, A
Passion for Christ: Paul, Debunking the Rapture, and Embracing
Mystery. Video and reading material including such authors as Marcus
Borg, Tex Sample, Emilie Townes, and Walter Brueggemann are
resources for the experience. |
